Responsibilities

HR administration:
  • Keep our HRIS updated and running smoothly by maintaining accurate files, records, and documentation.
  • Take the lead on employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience.
  • Coordinate mandatory local training to keep everyone compliant and informed. 
  • Serve as a friendly and reliable point of contact for employees with general HR queries. 
  • Support and help deliver engagement initiatives that make Bango a great place to work. 
  • Contribute to key regional HR processes and projects as part of a collaborative HR team. 
Payroll and benefits administration:
  • ​​​​​​​Manage country-specific payroll on a bi-monthly or monthly schedule, ensuring benefits and related data are accurately inputted. 
  • Partner with benefits brokers and providers to make sure employee benefits are correctly reported and administered.
Recruitment Support:
  • Work with our external recruitment partner to coordinate interviews. 
  • Collaborate with the People Operations Lead to prepare onboarding documentation. 
  • Help create a positive, and memorable onboarding experience for every new starter. 
Employee Initiatives Support:
  • Provide comprehensive planning and support to coordinate employee initiatives to help drive engagement, to help make Bango a fun place to be.
Facilities:
  • Support overall office management and facilities in countries with physical office and/or countries with no office holding a specific meeting or event.
 

Essentials

Skills & Experience 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail. 
  • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. 
  • Fluency in English. Knowledge of another regional language (i.e. Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese) is a plus.
  • Understanding of local/regional labour laws is a plus. 
  • Experience in HR within the tech industry is a plus. 
  • Experience partnering with workers councils (where relevant) is helpful but not required. 
  • Good working knowledge of HRIS systems, Excel, and Office tools; if you have Canva experience this is a bonus. 
  • Proficiency, or the ability to quickly learn - HRIS, payroll systems, and similar HR applications. 
Qualifications / Education   
  • Academic qualification in Human Resources, or equivalent relevant experience. 
  • Previous office-based experience is preferred.
